Spiritual care givers have a willingness to be with people in their greatest times of weakness and confusion. The work of listening and being available in the present moment for the Spirit’s guidance for another person requires a strong interior sense of freedom and hope.
On Saturday, September 29, take a morning off to nurture your spiritual heart. The Rev. Lisa Senuta will guide participants in several contemplative practices designed to nurture a sense of interior freedom. Over the morning expect Lisa to use scripture, poetry, and wisdom from the saints to connect with the Spirit and a community of other chaplains. We will enjoy intermittent times of shared silence followed by guided communal conversations. The intent is for us to walk away with some new practices that can be used on the job to ground you in the Spirit as you offer yourself to others as a presence of hope.
Open to all, welcoming all.
