The All Angels Guild has served the Deaf community in the Chicago metropolitan area since an 1864 Evening Prayer Service at St. James Church, led by the Rev. Thomas Gallaudet, founder of St. Ann's Church for the Deaf in New York and namesake of Gallaudet University. This program is now based at Our Saviour Episcopal Church in Elmhurst, IL.

The All Angels Seniors

This program meets on the first Thursday of the month, and is an all day event, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Lunch is served and a special program or event is offered to the group, ranging in age from 50 to 90. Programs include Accessing Health Care, Dear Advocacy and Community Development. Leadership for this program is offered by Bishop Anderson House in cooperation with the DuPage Center for Independent Living in Glen Ellyn. This program is coordinated by the Rev. Trenton Pitcher and Sara Bianco of the DuPage Center for Independent Living. This is the only program serving Deaf seniors in DuPage County.

Deaf Way Illinois

This group meets twice a month at Our Saviour. The goal of the group is to develop Deaf leadership and provide training that enables Deaf people to participate in local and state political events affecting their future.

AA Meetings

The only AA meeting serving the needs of the Deaf in metropolitan Chicago meets weekly at Our Savior. Many attendees are bused in from drug and alcohol treatments centers in the City.
